Dr. Ariel Pourmorady, who successfully defended his thesis titled, "RNA-mediated symmetry breaking enables singular olfactory receptor choice" has returned to medical school as a third year student at VP&S at CUIMC but still visits the lab when he can.
Ariel Pourmorady defended his thesis in December 2023, in the Kavli Auditorium at Zukerman Brain Mind Behavior Institute/Jerome L Greene Science Center. His body of research work, seminar and defense were spectacular, earning him recognition as one of two recipients of this year's 2024 Dean's Award for Excellence in Research, presented at Commencement.
